Manager Rudi Gutendorf, that also holds a Guinness World Record for training 55 teams in 32 countries across five continents, has died aged 93.
Gutendorf’s managerial career spanned half a century, including time in top-flight teams at his native Germany.
‘Restless Rudi’ took his very first management role from the 1950s with Korean facet Blue Stars Zurich, while his final role in management was together with Samoa in 2003.
German FA vice-president, Dr Rainer Koch, called him an»outstanding ambassador of German soccer».
«We shed in him a person who has improved us through his huge heart and positivity daily,» his relatives.
